I don't think Obama's running against McCain anymore. McCain's become superfluous, and he knows it. Taking a weekend off 30 days before the election? He knows he can't draw crowds without Palin. After McCain pulls out of Michigan, Palin says she and Todd will go and continue the campaign there. McCain knows there's an awful lot in his past to offset the Obama as terrorist meme. And yet that's where Palin goes - repeatedly. Palin's giving him advice on the debate - have fun and take off the gloves. Excuse me? This election is Obama running for president vs. Palin running for president.
