Keating flew John and Cindy McCain all over the place and her father actually was involved in helping Keating hatch his plan. If McCain wants to play hardball, he certainly better get ready to duck because MAJOR INCOMING FIRE WILL BE RETURNED.

1. He COULD,
but SHOULD he?

Maybe he shouldn't confuse the folks with TOO MANY facts!

2. That's my theory. Better to go with KISS.
These folks might get confused and lose interest.

5. He could use a small phrase as a tactical mental grenade into McCain's head...
Something like:

"Well. John, as you are probably scared to have mentioned about your involvement with the Keating Five, a scandal that even has your wife and her father involved, it is a classic case of..."

Just a phrase, but enough to make the old buzzard's feathers get rustled and make him blow his top... that's the money shot in the upcoming debate.

6. And people would say, Oh look-he's picking on
McCain's wife. Better to just go after McCain-she's not on the ballot. And you are right about people getting confused. KISS, it is.

7. That was then... this is now... use it as a psych ops grenade on McCain in the debate
It is a FACT that Cindy McCain was along for the many rides with John and Keating. It's also a FACT that her dad did some fundraising and helped Keating out as well AND profited from his relationship with Keating. It certainly is something that McCain will regret if it gets out.

McCain has asked for it, and, goddamn it, the shit is going to fly right back at him.
