Why is Palin carvoting and sleeping with US Separatists OK?
NYT: A Palin Joined Alaskan Third Party, Just Not Sarah Palin

In the mid-1990s, the Alaskan Independence Party was experiencing a boom of sorts. A governor had been elected on its ticket in 1990, when the party was not even a decade old. And membership was swelling.

Among the new recruits was Todd Palin, whose wife, Sarah, would later become governor of Alaska. The Palins attended the party’s convention in their hometown, Wasilla, in 1994, according to party officials, where the party called for a revote on statehood and a draft constitution for an independent Republic of Alaska. Mr. Palin joined the party.
Snip
On Tuesday, though, the party’s chairwoman, Lynette Clark, said the earlier statement was false. Ms. Clark said that she had based it on information another party member had given her, but that a review of the records showed only that Ms. Palin had attended the 1994 conference.

Ms. Clark added that while the review confirmed Todd Palin as a member, it did not indicate that Ms. Palin had been one.

2. K&R. I started a thread about this today asking why we don't have 527s running ads questioning HER
and her HUSBAND'S patriotism for being members of the AIP.

3. I just wrote this letter, and I am sending it to as many Newspapers as I can!
Dear Editors,

Why is it alright that Sarah Palin is married to a man who is associated to a U.S. Separatist party?

Ms. Palin claims that she is able to accuse Sen. Barack Obama of "palling" around with Domestic Terrorists because she read it in the New York Times. Well, I read in the New York Times (Sept 3, 2008 article by KATE ZERNIKE) that Gov. Palin is married to a confirmed member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which is a political party whose goal is to secede from the United States.

Is there a reason that Ms. Palin has the right to make vocal accusations in reference to Senator Obama's less than tenuous links by association to Mr. Ayers, when Ms. Palin is actually wedded to a man who would prefer not to see our country whole? A man who is actually stumping for the National Republican Ticket?

I find the media's lack of zeal in reporting this fact disappointingly discriminatory. I believe that this "news" should get much more attention.

Respectfully,

XXXXXXX

8. great letter, Frenchie
may it stir that damned pot. I can't believe they were so hot with Michelle stating now she was really proud to be an American when Barack got the nomination and Cindy's cat-ass I've ALWAYS been proud to be an American when we now have half their ticket looking to secede.

I hope they blow this up the way it should be blown.

6. Lynette is backing off Palin because she supports her
Lynette Clark's husband, Dexter is the bearded Santa Claus-like guy in the video that was circulated several weeks back, who said that Sarah Palin was a member of the AIP.

Lynette backed away from saying Sarah Palin is a member because she wants to see a woman in the White House.

9. That seems obvious. And it would be so easy to prove that she supports him. The original story
is always the real story.

14. That's the most damning part of their agenda.
I'd love to hear Palin explain that part of their mission statement. I understand that as Governor, she wants to reach out to all* Alaskans but why would a Republican address a secessionist party's Convention? Things aren't adding up.

10. I agree.. that is what I want to know..this really show how bad McCains
judgment is, he put on the ticket, the one person who is not vetted by the American people unless they run for the presidency also..and that is the Vice Pres.

And this woman, is married to a separatist member who belongs to a group whose founder believed in violet overthrow to seperate from the United States. And if I am correct, those are grounds for a trial for treason against the United States.

So his veep choice is a terrorist sympathizer.

Time to get turn this ship around

16. Destroy Palin and McCain
Take out Palin now so we don't have to hear from her in 8 years.

Time to play the "Anti-American" card because she is trying the same against Obama.
