Am I the only one Pissed Off that Palin conciders taxes unpatriotic?

Are all Alaskans so resentful of their statehood that they resent our system of governing?
Any one who isn't proud of what we have collectively accomplished in this great nation can kiss my ass!

2. nope, taxes are necessary

they suck and all that blah blah blah but you know what...they go to pay and keep this country running. they are there to make sure someone comes and saves you during a fire, when you need help (police) our roads everything. It is patriotic to keep your country running and it is bad that they are sometimes wastefully spent (this bailout) but it covers many great programs. I am young but i understand that it is apart of living in this country. People need to get over it, you will pay taxes for the rest of your life, just think about it differently...people that complain usually cheat on their taxes too lol

3. Patriotism isn't a flag pen - true patriotism requires sacrifice and participation

It is unpatriotic to say you support the troops without being willing to pay to care for the troops. The sames goes for liberal government programs.

taxpayer money for wasilla when she was mayor. where did she think that money came from? is she like a kid who thinks money comes from an atm machine or something?

5. Two things stood out to me in the part of that debate that I heard:

1. "I am not going to answer your questions."

2. "Paying taxes is not patriotic."

Ms. To Nowhere said both--and neither Biden nor the debate runners called her on either.

I found them...mind-boggling.

When Biden talked about paying taxes being patriotic, he meant that paying your fair share is patriotric, vs. using tax dodges in the Cayman Islands.

The biggest yacht I ever saw was docked near Wall Street. On the stern, its home port was listed as the Cayman Islands.
