2. Haw!
I had an argument with my boss where I said Obama will win because when times are bad, people vote for the opposing party. His response? "Well that just shows how stupid people are because the Democrats are in charge of Congress!"

:banghead:

9. Add to this during Shrub's term
2001: Oil $ 27 per barrel
2008: Oil (peak) $147.27 per barrel
2008: Oil (yesterday) $93.97 per barrel

So how much did this oil baby and his cronies make?

6. Too little, too late.
Someone ask Boehner what the gas prices were when Shrub was partying and McLame was having a big bash birthday party while thousands were dying in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina... And this was in 2005.

I know I was paying $3.30/gallon here then and it had gone up as high as $3.41 at some stations in Philly by Labor Day!

7. I hope the entire RNC goes bankrupt over shitty ads that won't work.
Like people know when Dems took over Congress (which was what? Less than 2 years ago?). Idiots. They had the whole kit'n'caboodle for 7 years and still manage to cause a lot of mess today.

8. Someday some democrat or democratic group should run ads saying
1. The economy grows at a faster rate under democratic presidents than under republican presidents;

2. The rate of job creation is always, always, always higher under democratic presidents than under republican presidents;

3. The federal budget deficits are much, much lower under democratic presidents than under republican presidents; and

4. The stock market performs significantly better under democratic presidents than under republican presidents.

These are indisputable facts but most people believe the exact opposite.
