....i thought mcdipshit pulled outta there because he was getting his dumb ass kicked.

the story was showing obama with 250 electoral votes in the blue and leaning blue states. but michigan and wisc were yellow. i thought we had michigan in the bag. and what's up with wisconsin? are the cheeseheads going to vote repuke? didn't kerry win wisc in 2004?

1. Looks like CNN is more optimistic for McCain than the McCain campaign is.

7. I attended an Obama rally on Labor Day in Milwaukee that was the most
inspiring and hopeful event I've ever seen. It was magical.

9. Wait.. they have more than one map. The other has both for Obama.
WTF is with the two maps?

2008 'estimate' http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/calculator/
Polling http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/map/polling/

I suspect the 2008 estimate map is not up to date.

13. wow...the second map shows obama within 1 point in indiana....
...and within 3 in NC.

it also shows him winning PA, OH and FL! that map is an electoral landslide for obama. i like it....but i don't know if i'm quite that optimistic yet. i wonder where their polling data is coming from.

10. weird....on tv MI was yellow
it seems like if they really took into account the blue and leaning blue states, obama would have well over 270 on their electoral map. instead it showed 250 and had some blue states as yellow.

17. Obama has only 300 electoral votes if he wins only those states where he is up by 3% or more based
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 03:25 PM by Stop Cornyn
on the average of recent polls, and if you assume McCain wins all the other states (even those states where Obama is consistently ahead in every poll but where the margin of the average of recent polls has Obama up by less than 3%).
