I hope Barack kicks McCain's ass in the debate this week

McCain has been whining about doing the town hall debates which is his comfort zone. This should put an end to his nonsense. Barack will engage the audience and the pudits will have to declare him the winner after the polls are in.

And Sarah Palin takes a wrong turn on the way back to her house one night and ends up in some uncharted frozen tundra of Alaska with nothing but lipstick on her person.

3. Yes...I want a more decisive win for Obama

I was watching Real Time w/Bill Maher and I feel the same way he does about "the surge." Why is Obama just conceding that the surge worked? We don't know if it worked...we have to stop paying the Sunni militia and remove the surge troops to see if violence will stay down. Also, Obama should talk about all the opportunity costs of carrying out this war (health care, roads, etc).

stay focused and talk about jobs, jobs, jobs, and more jobs.

8. I agree but the war does come up

There's no way for Obama to just ignore the topic when asked about it (he's not Palin, lol). If they are asked in the final two debates about the war and the surge, I hope Obama will be a little more forceful in challenging McCain's position (especially regarding the surge).

4. The pundits sure are lowering the bar for Obama.

All of them seem to think that McCain is better at these townhalls than Obama. It's easy to be good in a townhall when you don't have any difficult questions to answer.

I guess these pundits have never watched an Obama townhall before. I love his townhalls.

6. I think Barack will be a much improved debater for the next debates

...even better than he was the first time where he made a few minor mistakes like saying "I agree with John" too much and not holding McCain to task for all the times McCain said "What Senator Obama doesn't seem to understand is...". Even then, Barack still came off as more presidential and genuine. He'll be more on his toes next time and he'll be awesome!

7. Obama will be fine I'm sure

McCain having to try to "connect" with normal, everyday average people? Yeah, I'm really worried about Obama.

The only thing that I'm kind of worried about is that McCain is going to try to attack Obama about the fact that Obama didn't "accept" his Town Hall "challenge". Although, I'm sure Obama will be prepared for it though with a good response that anybody but the wingnuts would understand.
