6. People are excessively generous with favorability
McCain is up around 60%, with Obama a little bit higher.

4. Palin appealing to older voters, but not young voters?
Look at these numbers from the Rasmussen VP debate poll:

Voters under 40 said that Biden won, those over 65 said Palin, and those in between were evenly divided.

The GOP likes to call Palin a "young star" of the party. But, is she appealing to young voters at all? Biden is much older than her, and he won over the young voters in the poll, not Palin. Maybe Palin is just appealing to the same "old boys" crowd that listen to Rush Limbaugh and watches Bill O'Reilly? If you consider some of her strange language choices and the corny winking, she does seem out of touch with younger people. If she isn't appealing to youth, then she isn't as exciting for the future as the right wing tries to make her out to be.

Maybe other polls show Palin having appeal to young voters, but this one certainly looks bad for her.

5. 53% is still a whole lotta stupid
What's with the $40,000 - $100,000 demographic? That should be a natural middle class constituency for Obama/Biden.

Of course I am pleased with Biden coming out ahead, but Palin's numbers are still too disturbingly high for someone of her rank suckage.
