Funny story (at least in my mind!)
My 11 year old son had an assignment for Social Studies last night to watch a part of the debate and fill out a worksheet. He needed to choose one question and write the responses from both candidates. He chose the Nuclear Iran vs. Unstable Pakistan (!). He also needed to write one positive thing he noticed about both Biden and Palin and one negative. I fully expected him to ask me to help him, but he didn't. He said he was the only student in his class who watched the ENTIRE debate.
I peeked at his paper this morning and he didn't write anything in the positive Palin area, I asked him why not and he said he wasn't going to write anything positive about her. Negative Palin comment was that she said ummm too much and she kept drawing between questions (he was convinced that was what she was doing with her pen)...
In the meantime, my 9 year old son started watching the debate, but fell asleep in front of the TV by 9:30. I carried him to bed afterwards, but on the drive into school this morning he told me he had a headache. I said maybe he just slept wrong, but he said "no, I think it's because I had to listen to Sarah Palin all night last night"...
that kid always makes me laugh, I was just hoping he wouldn't end up in the nurse's office today 'cause I'm sure he would tell her the same thing!!!
