Thank you Sarah...Thank you!!! Please keep talking!!!
I just spoke to my mom...and she and my very republican dad watched the debate last night. Mom said, "Melissa, you should have heard your dad...he actually said, ''The more that woman talks the less I think I can vote for them..."

Keep talking Sarah ...and while you do, I'm going to print off Obama's policies and send them to my dad! They dont have a computer (universal gasp) and dad told me last week, he wasn't familiar enough with Obama's policies...so I told dad, I'll try to find yah some and I'll bring 'em to yah...

A gentleman I work with occasionally, who is in his 60's asked me what I thought of the debate. I told him I thought Palin was a joke.He agreed but said that even beyond being a joke that she is a very scary person. He wondered how she could stand there with that ridiculous grin on her face while she talked about war and recession terrorism and the mistakes of the last administration. BTW this man lived in Greece most of his life and became an American citizen a couple of decades ago. He said Palin reminded him of some of the less savory leaders in that part of the world , they look you in the eye and smile while they drive a knife into your gut. He said she was a plastic person, no soul , no emotions.

I of course took this as my cue to go off on the republicans but just as I got started he told me that he has always been a conservative and since getting citizenship, a republican but that the biggest mistake he ever made was voting for Bush in 2000. He said he will not make that mistake in 2008.

9. You don't have to go far
I went to Obama.com and downloaded the economic plan. That was in April so he is no less than 5 months ahead of McCain in realizing the problems we have. Homeowner protection was at the top of page one.
