Many friends who are indys told me today they have new respect for Biden....
These people did not even comment on Palin but said Biden was "damn sharp". I think the end effect last night was Biden looked so great that people have more confidence in the ticket.

I think last night helped us more just for the Biden exposure!

Percentage wise in terms of improvement Palin perhaps had the better day.

That doesn't change that McCain-Palin are still behind and far from catching up. They slowed their loss of momentum. They didn't gain any.

5. democrat all my life and I have to admit I have never paid too much attention to Joe...until last
night...the guy is phenomenal. I love him. He wasn't Vice Presidential...he WAS Presidential. The guy is awesome.

"If something happens to the top of the ticket.....?" question.
