I think McCain is going to try to style himself as a "liberal" before the next debate.

I think McCain is going to try to style himself as a "liberal" before the next debate.
There was a brief segment on MSNBC in which McCain was going on about this town hall event coming up and he said that people "would be surprised to see who is a conservative and who is a liberal...". Over the past week and in that VP debate, I've noted that the Mc-P ticket is trying to project an aura of populism. We need to be vigilant because using populist language to sugarcoat the same old patrician policies does not equal change.

1. Oh Lord, a liberal?
Pure desperation. What's next, McCain petitions to have his party affiliation on all the ballots changed to "Democrat 2"?

2. Tinfoily here, but something tells me McCain will back out of the
next Pres. debate. Since campaign is "suspended" and all that. I honestly don't think he's up to it and then to lose again. I think we saw our first and last debate..

3. How could a fascist style himself a liberal? Particularly since he has Caribou Barbie.....
... and Caribou Barbie has not exactly gained friends and influenced people.
