7 Million More People Watched THe VP Debate on the Broadcast Networks than the Pres Debate.
40 million people watched last night on the broadcast networks, while only 33 million watched the Presidential Debate. With the cable numbers added it, most likely over `10 million more people watched the VP debate.

I got this by subtracting the the number of cable viewers the last time around from the 52 million reported watching.

5. Yea Same here...I remember my brother and i both guessed thurdays and we found it was Sunday

I think it might be because NBC held a monopoly on the "Must See TV" slogan for Thursdays for so long (e.g. Cosby Show, Seinfeld, Cheers, Frasier, Friends -- those being the highest rated shows at the time) that we tend to think thursdays always is the highest despite NBC being the lowest rated network now (even behind fox)

11. Friday is a 'get out of the house' night - that means more people
out at restaurants, bars, movies, sporting events, and more people working to serve the people out at those venues.

Thursdays is a 'stay at home and watch TV' night.

Besides, McCain is SOooooo boring.
