That moment. That one moment of silence of perfect agreement after the big question we were all sitting on the edge of our seats for.

So Joe thinks that marriage is between a man and a woman only. So does Sarah.

Then silence. Harmony and balance in the universe. You are one with your opponent. The world is safe for heterosexuals.

I was chilled. It was so beautifull.

I know all you heterosexuals are happy that you dodged THAT truck. Now you can sleep comfortably.

3. Actually, Biden boxed her into a place I'm sure she had wished he didn't.
The whole "marriage" thing aside, Biden got her to admit to extending benefits to same-sex couples.

That admission will not play well, at all, with that tiny sliver of the base they were trying to attract with Palin's selection.

Biden:" an Obama-Biden administration, there will be absolutely no distinction from a constitutional standpoint or a legal standpoint between a same-sex and a heterosexual couple...We do support making sure that committed couples in a same-sex marriage are guaranteed the same constitutional benefits as it relates to their property rights, their rights of visitation, their rights to insurance, their rights of ownership as heterosexual couples do."

She had to agree to extending basic rights to committed couples, or she would have come across as a raging bigot. And the bigots are the ones the McPalin ticket are trying to attract.
