What was Palin's most disturbing remark?
"I'm not going to answer this the way you (Biden) or the moderator want me too, I'm going to answer to the American people. And I'm going to talk about my track record."

That really pissed me off. What she said is that she was going to answer a question she wasn't asked. I should have used that technique in microbiology exams in high school. When asked about DNA I could have explained it was an igneous rock of a morrison formation, and aced the test.

Pretty much let us know that she didn't have a clue.

Other than the fact she obviously knows nothing about the constitution (and great job to Biden for his answer clearly stating the Constitution), it showed her greed for more power.

16. It was the way she said this..."There have been huge blunders in the war. "
"There have been huge blunders in the war. There have been huge blunders throughout this administration, as there are with every administration." With an eye roll and a sarcastic tone.

As a mother, i would think that any discussion about "blunders" in a war my CHILD would be fighting in would be deserving of a far graver tone. Apparently, she is dangerously detached from the realities of war and the the consequences of the dire errors in judgment made by the admin. I am sure the mothers and fathers of fallen soldiers would not share in her snide dismissal of the mistakes that cost them so much.

26. God, so many
1. her agreement with Cheney about the VP in the constitution.

2. just ingnoring Biden's feelings about his family. That's what she claimed to be all night, a sympathetic mom connecting with people, then when it came time for that - attack.

3. how she "quasi-caved".

4. her answer on same sex marriage. Spouted BS that seemed like tolerance, but asked if she truely agreed with herself - in the lingo "walked the talk" - she said nothing, looked scared, and changed the subject.

5. when she called McKiernan McClellan (twice) revealing her ignorance AND compounded the mistake by completely misspoking his position on the situation in Afganistan, just so her party wouldn't face blame. Really, there's no other reason for them even arguing about Afganistan except saving party face, unless the rethug party is going pacifist on us.

6. her assertion that, if taking over for the POTUS, she wouldn't follow anything McCain did and instead would be a maverick like that was a good thing. Biden said clearly Obama would be Pres, not him - no such assertion from Palin. Notice that? Power, baby, power.

7. in general, the stupidly fake "i'm like you" accent and idioms.

She didn't state a SINGLE thing she would do differently than the BFEE, except giving the Vice President greater powers. :banghead:

And when Ifill asked her what she'd do if McSame ate it and she became president, and she just said she'd do whatever the hell she wanted... If I were McSame I'd ship her ass right back to Wasilla for that comment. Way to have some respect for the top of the ticket, Maverick Barbie. :eyes:

she said that Alaska was the state most affected by global warming. I have no doubt that Alaska is affected but to say that it is the most affected is wrong. We have 300 missing persons along the Texas coast due to Hurricane Ike and untold property damage. The point being is that stronger hurricanes are the results of global warming. Charley, Katrina and Rita also come to mind to.
