Good pictures Posted: Thursday, October 02, 2008 10:37 PM by Domenico Montanaro

The pictures here while watching NBC's post-debate coverage (as I know you all are), are good for Palin. Watching her holding her infant son, she certainly looked like the do-everything mom. That will have lots of moms, regardless of ideology, likely identifying.

NOT this mom!

1. Oh for fucks sake....
It's like they think half our brain comes out with the afterbirth! I identify with that freak show and her traveling band of loin fruit about as much as I do with suffering from an 8 hour erection! :grr:

2. While she was walking around with her 6 month old...
I had put my 4 month old to bed in a quiet bedroom. I work full-time.. i travel several times per month for my job. I also make sure I get my 3 year old to soccer & swimming lessons. My infant gets fed, loved and cared for in a consistant enviornment.. i don't drag them across the country with me while I travel.

This mom would be more impressed if her kids were back in Alaska in school where they belong. This mom would be more impressed if she stopped using her kids as props, and actually had some experience and ideas that were her own instead of talking points.

This mom is not impressed by Sarah Palin AT ALL.

5. This mom, too. I would never do that to someone I love, esp. one w/special needs. EVER!

10. I don't relate to her at all.
I wouldn't have brought the baby to the debate or to the convention. When I see him being passed around like a sack of potatoes I just feel sad. I get the sense that for Palin, having lots of children is more important than feeling anything for them. It's all a show. I'd have more respect for her if she left the younger children at home with a grandparent or a sitter -- like any other working parent would.

11. I identify more with the prop children than with the narcissistic mom.
She makes me ill.
