Post debate what bothered me immensely is
the way Palin handed of the baby to her small daughter. I simply cannot stand to see small children carrying babies. I was dropped on my head as a 2 year old by a 16 year old even though one would surmise a 16 year old would be capable of holding a 2 year old. I threw my body backward and she wasn't prepared. For a long time I couldn't raise my head and I was pigeon-toed really bad in one foot. A medical doc told my parents that essentially "what you see is what you got" They took me to a chiropractor (62 years ago) and he straightened me out once again. To this day, I just shudder when I see a child carrying a baby. To me, that is the epitome of a bad mother.

3. That baby needs a warm crib and a caring nanny. The woman is a
millionaire for heavens sake. A nanny who is caring and efficient in caring for a baby with his needs would be the ticket...Cannot stand the way that child is treated...

6. actually, my thought, without trying to be judgemental...
...was why was it necessary to bring a baby on a plane to a debate at all? This crossed my mind when I saw the clip of them getting off the plane. No one would've thought ill of the family for leaving the baby at home... where, with all due respect, he belonged. A toddler, I can see. An infant... no.

I guess I did wind up being judgemental, LOL.

Shraby, I thought that too when I saw the youngest daughter holding her... he was almost too big for her. And sorry that happened to you.

10. they were just using the baby
baby sitter would have been more appropriate. Heck, people hire a baby sitter to go out at times!

4. Said the same thing to my wife.
That girl is way too young to be holding a baby. But I suppose she needs to start practicing for when she's knocked up at 16.

5. And this is the "special needs" child she just gave birth to, to boot!
You would think they would have hired a person trained in taking care of special needs children to be the nanny and care for this child on the campaign trail.

The McCain campaign is too freaking cheap to spend just $10,000 for two months of that? :eyes:

7. And it's always the youngest kid holding that baby like a rag
doll. That is horrible. I agree 100%. Children don't need to be holding a baby like that. I feel really sorry for that baby.

9. I was less concerned about the 6 month old awake then the 7 year old..
I have a 4 month old son - he just went to sleep about a half hour ago.. many babies aren't on a set sleep schedule until they're 1 or older. My little guy usually goes down around 11:30 or 12am, and gets back up to eat at 5am or so.. then back to sleep until 8am.

My THREE YEAR OLD however, is in bed promptly at 8:30pm.. no questions asked. She has a schedule.. because that keeps her behavior on target (for a 3 year old anyway) because she needs her sleep.

Their youngest daughter being up at 11:00pm bugs the crap out of me. Why isn't that kid at home, in Alaska.. sleeping and ready for school tomorrow? Why is SHE awake?

Anyway- that's more bothersome to me then the baby.. babies can sleep almost anywhere.
