After watching our VP nominees get their asses kicked in debates in the last two elections
It's VERY gratifying to have our 2008 VP nominee kick ass in a debate.

He was sitting on Cheney's lap with his head resting lovingly on his chest.

2. I don't think Biden kicked her ass
And I'm glad he didn't. If he had there might have been a backlash, a "Lazio Effect" of sorts. He was less aggressive than he would have been against a male opponent, but not in a condescending way. I thought he struck the right balance.

5. I don't mean that he made mincemeat of her in the traditional sense
I mean that he was so far superior to her in ways that the pundits immediately picked up on and are spinning it to his advantage.

I agree, he could not go after her - but he went after McCaiin and made her look pretty ridiculous.
