I wonder if Texans are getting a little tired of Palin bragging about Alaska being the biggest state
all the freaking time.

"As the governor of the BIGGEST state in all the land...and blah blah fucking blah". If I hear her say that one more time, I'm gonna dive right though the TV screen.

God she's UNBEARABLE to listen to!

1. Molly Ivins once had a suggestion for the motto on Texas license plates:
"Texas: Fuck Alaska"

I miss Molly.

5. Actually, I always thought it should be 'The Backward State'... but unfortunately there are
a lot of states who could vie for that motto. (And hey, don't nuke me - I'm a native Texan... have just long been disillusioned with what it's turned out to be since oh, about half of my life ago).

2. I never thought about that!
We have lots of Texans up here in Colorado. And I've had a couple of supervisors over the years who were Texans. I believe that you're right. It would get under their skin for sure.

3. Nope, despite being a native Texan, and (unfortunately) back here - but not for good -
I couldn't care less what she says. Texans are full of hot air (and more) regarding how big Texas is, 'bigger is better', and all that crap. But then, I'm far from being a typical Texan. :^)

6. I'm a Texan and I can tell you for a fact that's not what's making me a little tired of Palin
Anyway, real Texans don't flinch when Alaskans brag about their size. You can fake class, but you can't fake trash. We're the real thing, baby.

7. As A Texan
There are MANY things about Palin that bother me.

But God Please some one coach her on how to say nuclear....please....after 8 years of hearing it from Bush I don't think I can
take another month of campaigning hearing her "repronounce" it in the Bush manner.
