Levi, as dumb as he probably is (at least he makes himself out to be, calling himself a redneck who just wants to play hockey) sees a chance of escape from this shotgun marriage (which is what it is - he doesn't seem thrilled to have marriage in his future, but he knows Palin is vindictive against people she views as crossing her) by having the wedding after the election when there will be less pressure for him and Bristol to show what good WASPs they are for Mommy's sake. Plus, maybe Troopergate will sink Palin's governorship, and he can escape that way. Hell, apply for asylum over in Russia - from the sounds of it, it's short swim over there. Just send the alimony checks.
