Sarah Palin is the perfect Republican
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 10:38 PM by liberal texan
On one of the Simpsons episode Mr. Burns says to his fellow Republican "We need a real leader, one who will do exactly as he is told."

If Sarah Palin somehow becomes the president of the United States she will easily be the best thing that could happen to the Republicans because like Bush she is a headstrong leader who is passionate about her beliefs as anyone could posibly be, but unlike Bush "this is what makes her a lot dangerous" she has no connection with the pragmatic republican establisment and would likely appoint into advisory positions strong ideologues who will completely control her policy. This would further move this country in a neocon direction with no Gates or Powell to obstruct their influence.

2. she'd appoint her high school buddies
isn't that what she did in alaska

bush appointed unqualified people as long as they were loyal and that's what she'd do as well
and the country will sink further and further

empires implode, they aren't destroyed by outside forces, like immigration, which is what repubs would like to blame for the country going downhill

4. That true as well
Bush's Cabinet always seemed to be a three way split between inconsequential/incompetent/sleazy cronies, firm ideologues and pragmatists from Bush Senior, now imagine this without the pragmatists
