She lacks empathy

There was one moment that stood out for me. It was when Sen. Biden got all choked up talking about his sons' injuries in the auto accident. When it was her turn to speak she had no response to him, she simply looked into the camera and asserted how McCain was a maverick. It was a disconnect and I think revealed much about her character.

They are completely empty, vacuous people, so they can't understand other people's human emotions (except for fear and anger).
