This VP Debate wasn't a Debate. It was a Palin memorization Test.

Short review:

Palin didn't answer any questions directly. She memorized her answers. She was told not to answer the questions, but she learned segways, instead, which she used to go off topic and go into a recitation.

Her words were rushed. Her tone was monochromatic.

She also lied. She lied so much it was impossible for Biden to keep track of all the lies.

Her demeanor - negative. Tight grin and sarcastic tone. Angry. Phoney. Manipulative. Oh, and Phoney. Did I mention PHONEY....
REALLY phoney.

It will not work out well for her.

4. I watched about an hour of it. I did also notice she was progressively sacrastic & fork tonguegu

Her demeanor held together for about ten minutes. But, after that time, wow! Her smile was not a smile. It was a forced angry
grin. The type you put on your face when you have to play pretend with someone you loathe.

She was like the Wicked Witch of the West dressed up like Glenda, and trying to fool Dorothy she was going to give her the red shoes.

Only more obvious....

6. She's always sarcastic
Speaking like that only helps with the Republicans who already like her. If she thinks using a sarcastic tone will help win over Independents, she's very wrong.

7. She came off as a coached, trampy bitch in my opinion. And I'm a
woman so I can call her a trampy bitch. It was like she just pretended she was back in a beauty pageant. Totally rote, totally vapid. Totally trying to use sex appeal. If she could have gotten away with debating in a bikini, I think she would have done it.

9. Tonight, she embodied every nasty character trait of a mean & spiteful woman

Bitch doesn't begin to suffice.

She was hateful. She was manipulative. She lied.

She was trash. Pure trash. She was classless. She was narcisstic.

In a way, it was a perfect caricature of the current neo-conservative Republican party.

11. And vapid. lol So very, very vapid. There were a few times that
I wished the cartoonish character that she was portraying herself as would just have an ACME anvil fall on her, or that she'd accidentally swallow a hand grenade....she was like some weird, sexed-up, primal cartoon. Can you imagine having THAT as President????

13. It was painful. And, it was frightening. The fact that such a bitter and unhinged woman...

Could be a Governor of ANY state...

Let alone a candidate for VP, it shows a broken people in this land. A dangerous people.

Right now, there are cars with her name stamped on their ass.

26. LOL...weird, sexed-up, primal cartoon
Brought to mind "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." She has the demeanor and behavior of Jessica Rabbit, but with the underlying disposition of Judge Doom...

12. a little more coaching..
and she's ready for Hollywood. She had her lines down but the delivery was a little off..like she had to rush through it. Kind of like I sing the ABC's when I'm looking for an alphabetical listing.

she came off as boring. In 90 minutes you need more material than she had. There's only so much of the same talking points you can stand.

30. That was my assessment, too
I just left a message on the local paper's call-in opinion line that Joe won the debate because he answered the questions.

I don't think her performance will lose them any of their base. It may pick up a few more LIV's who don't think their VP/President in waiting should be smarter or more prepared than them. But I think Joe made an excellent impression on most of the undecideds.
