If we get Virginia and Colorado, then OH and FL can't save him.

Without Michigan, there are very few ways McCain can win. There are about a dozen very plausible scenarios where Obama can win and really only a couple of scenarios where McCain can win without Michigan. And with Obama opening up a wide lead in PA, McCain is down to prayers.

18. Actually, Obama doesn't even need Virginia.
If he gets all the Kerry states, plus IA, CO and NM, it's over. And he's well ahead in all of them. As long as he doesn't make any gigantic mistakes, you can stick a fork in this election. It's over.

16. The Secretary of State in Ohio is now a Democrat
But besides that Obama can easily win without Ohio. All he needs are the Kerry states + Iowa (already in the bag), New Mexico (headed that way as well), and Colorado.
