Political Analysts: Colorado Could Decide Vote
Source: KRDO.com

COLORADO SPRINGS - Political Science analysts expect Colorado to make the difference in the November presidential election, as it remains one of a few swing states.

The latest pulls indicate a slight lead in favor of Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama.

The lead is small, but important, as Colorado's votes could end up deciding just who goes to the White House.

"The one state where no one really knows what's going to happen is Colorado," U.C.C.S. political science professor Josh Dunn says.

1. Colorado could go blue with the help of El Paso County democrats.
El Paso County and Colorado Springs dems have been pretty much shut down until the last couple of years. There will be many more of us voting along with independents and the cross over and nominal Republicans. We may not carry the county, but we can help swing the state.

:woohoo:

2. Not to mention engineers in Larimer County.
Let me tell ya... they're not terribly fond of the witch that McCain is taking economic advice from. I've never seen the cube moles so riled up.

6. My dad's family lives in loveland/ft collins
I was born there in fact, scared of Marilyn Musgrave but doesn't suprise me she is elected from there. I was born in the same hospital that Matthew Shepard died in. Poudre Valley Hospital. I'd think McCain has that region locked.

9. That's where I am now.
It looks like we elected that horrible Musgrave woman, but it was really the eastern plains that we're lumped *cough gerrymandered cough* in with.

My husband and kid brother were born at PVH, too. Even though I hadn't quite escaped my childhood brainwashing (your folks don't happen to go to church at Faith E Free, do they?) when Matthew Shepherd was murdered, I still knew that it was an abhorrant act. I'm an engineer, and the daughter of an engineer, and I just am amazed every time politics comes up at how insanely liberal some of the guys I work with are. I mean, there is that one ditto-head, but I think he might be a liberal listening to the paedophile pill-popper for laughs. You'd think that my guys here would be dark red, but I'd be surprised if the lab votes Republican enough to be considered purple. The economic downturn of the last several years (and most of us were under Carly during her tenure at HP, so we've been on the rocks for a good long time now) has really made people around here vote with their pocketbooks, not their religion.

8. plus
Obama's up in FL and Nevada. I would think McCain has more to worry about than winning/losing Colorado.
