It's the great predebate Sarah Word Salad creativity thread!
Okay, agreed, she has fabricated some awfully great word salads to surpass...but I'm sure DU can come up with better ones.

I'll kick off:

What is your opinion on Iraq?

Well you know there are many books written on the subject already. And this is why education matters. When there are no standards for training Iraqi Students, where will they get their information? And the field trips my running mate has done in....uhmmm...the fields...of battle, you know when he was POW and such, well I mean I so respect him for that. And he joined this great american hero petrayus, and there is much instability in the regions. And John being the central front of terror has really made the two of us come together on this.

Post your subject, and the "answer" in the text, like, and such

:P

1. Another-
When you were Mayor of Wasilla, you had rape victims paying for their exams- What was your reasoning behind this requirement?

Well that's a good question Gwen, there are many times mayors have to make tough decisions and choices are part of the decision making process. We have to look over all the facts and figure out what is best for us as a community and violent crime certainly is a problem. With all the violent crime up there women are certainly at risk as well, you know, and women were once little girls so we have to protect the children. All children should go to doctors, and the health care industry just isn't doing the job. That's why my running mate and I support insurance for children.

2. How would you balance the budget if you became president?
Oh well, let me tell you about my household budget in Wasilla and the many challenges and my growing family and all you would think a hockey mom and past PTA president wouldn't be able to manage that and balance all of that an all with a professional career as a homemaker with a big strapping man like Todd and who you know Todd won a snowmobile race and he's a big eater and that moose he shot last year is now in our fridge and we've really been economising by eating off of the carcass for the last eight months and I think that's a real example of the type of saving and spending cuts I would favor if God gave me the privilege of serving America as it's Vice President.

3. Q: Define the role of the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan
Afghanistan will surely lead us down the path to war, but it doesn't have to lead - as I said - to a position much like we are today finding ourselves with so much collapse on Wall Street. Well, that was unfortunate. That manifestation that we work together on this. I think our presence in Iraq that John McCain and I think our presence in Iraq that John McCain has a great plan to get a more democratic nation with democratic ideals. That's why we have to lead to further security of our economy. Helping the it's got to be found here. Consumers and those who are concerned about the need to implement those.

10. "Do you feel the weight of possibly being the USA's first female VP?"
Sarah: "Weight is always foremost in a woman's mind so yes, I feel it whatever it is and Biden can't. We've come a long way baby, which is something we should therefore, in as much as, ergo talk about as it regards, you know, privacy which I support and abortion which I don't, though my church has nothing to do with the laying on of hands, though yes, my daughter got laid and is now paying the price just like all those on Wall Street are paying the price that'll come out of the taxpayer's pockets if we ban books about homosexuality, if you know what I mean, but not really, okay?"

14. Yours is too grammatically correct.
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 05:32 PM by BullGooseLoony
The key is to use catch-phrases- like things you would find on flash cards- and mix them up with all kinds of prepositions and connecting words.

Yeah, she isn't thinking clearly by your example, but she's speaking coherently. Not good enough. :)

16. "Governor Palin, what would you do to protect our country from terrorism?"
"Well, you see, Gwen, our country and the terrorists, they hate freedom. We can't blink. Like 9/11, for example. The front, war on terror is Iraq, obviously. And, importantly, our troops fight. Further, the radicals, Islam, our enemies. In that respect, we must achieve victory!"
