Get your DEBATE SURVIVAL KIT Right Here!!
Whether you experience serious GOP bias, the promotion of sexism, the pushing of racism, or just plain ol' unfair play.....give the Corporate media a piece of your mind. Make a phone call, drop a tip to our media "friends", write a letter to the editor, my point is don't just get mad; do something!

19. Newspapers
http://www.newspapers.com/usa_news.htm

That's a link for a map to check newspapers by state. I encourage everyone to check the newspapers in their state, neighboring states and swing states. Many of these papers have forums where there will be discussions of the debates, polls on the debates and articles which allow reader comments.

23. First Letter out to AP!
You are currently running this story:
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/D/DEBATE_FACT_CHECK?SITE=WTHRELN&SECTION=POLITICS&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

Calvin Woodward gave a fact-check about the vice-presidential debate, only Woodward had his facts wrong.

He wrote:

"THE FACTS: Biden voted for 1999 deregulation that liberal groups are blaming for part of the financial crisis today. The law allowed Wall Street investment banks to create the kind of mortgage-related securities at the core of the problem now."

Woodward's "facts" are wrong. It is simply not true.

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act passed 54-44, down party lines. Senator Joe Biden voted "Nay."

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/vote.xpd?vote=s1999-105

Mr. Woodward is referring to a second act, which merely averred that the differences between the House and Senate versions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act had been reconciled.

Please have the incorrect Fact checking retracted, to include the truth. I expect no less from Associated Press.

Thank you,
