All you need to know about Obama's standing in this race is that McCain is outright GIVING UP in a heavily blue collar, non-latte drinking, Rust Belt state with tense race relations where Swift-boat ads about Jeremiah Wright have been running on tv ... in a state that Bush lost by only 150,000 votes.

This is much better news than if McCain were giving up in a more cosmopolitan, white collar state.
