I Gave Up Trying To Think And Reason Like A Republican Years Ago...
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 03:20 PM by Stephist
But since the McCain campaign is "reportedly" pulling out of Michigan and they leaked it today doesn't it seem like they themselves aren't expecting much out of Miss Wasilla tonight? I would think one state where she might play well is Michigan. Just seems to me to like they are slowly saying phuck it we can't win. Maybe I am wrong.

1. I find it easy to think like a Republican ...
just act like everything is someone else's fault (because I'm white), grumble about every bit of tax I have to pay, look for conspiracies everywhere, etc.

2. Don't like your statement.
Do you mean to say she should play well in Michigan because we are as stupid as she is? I hope that was not your intent. I have never been prouder of my Michigan. As far as I know we are the 1st state in the nation to run Mcsame out of town. Guess we saw through his bull rather fast.

3. No That is Not What I Meant At All.
I didn't mean at all to imply that people in Michigan are stupid politically or otherwise. I live in Nebraska so I would never call out another state for being ignorant politically. What I meant was I think they thought using her "outdoors hunting and fishing" and "middle class every person" image would play in states like Michigan which is why they put her on the ticket. You are right Michigan obviously saw through it. Good for you. I wish I could say the same for my sorry State.
