I've had to interview people for IT jobs in the past and would make up a question to see if the person was honest. It really separated the wheat from the chaff. I'd ask "Do you have experience with Orange Line? It's a new database filtering add-on that curls delimited data?" In most cases, the programmer would ask "what is curling delimited data mean?" or just say "No, but I'd like to learn it..." Occasionally, you'd get someone who'd say they have some experience with Orange Line, but want to learn more... That name would be scratched off immediately.

So... Gwen should ask a question about some fake country in Africa and what she would do about recent events there... "Governor Palin, as President, what would you do about the new breakout of the disease Fromegetta that has begun wiping out the population of New Zindor?" I'm sure she would have "an answer"...
