A good friend will be protesting outside the Biden-Palin debate tonight

She works with special needs children and has been really looking forward to protesting Palin's appearance. This is her first action ever and she and quite a few other Moms Against Palin are going to be out there.

She's a little scared that she might get tear-gassed or tasered. I told her to have someone taking photos AND have an extra camera data card to give to the cops if they demand a card of photos from the cameras. She and others have called local news people to let them know she and others will be there. I told her to look for C-SPAN cameras and whoever else will want to talk to them. They also will have moose antler hats on too for more attention.

I'll have a report from her from the event after it all happens.

Palin will have a rally after the debated at the new sports complex at St. Louis University tonight at least that what my source has told me.

5. Just talked to her on the way there...

She said they have made it really almost impossible to get there with blocking off the area a lot. She and her friend are absolutely psyched to protest though. She'll send photos when she gets home after the event.

6. The report...

No photos yet, but she and her friend were wearing Momma for Obama t-shirts and holding signs saying "Another mom against Sarah Palin". They had to walk a pretty far distance from the event to a location well-hidden from the local media. They talked to some reporters from Spain and the BBC who were there and one reporter from the local Fox station when they finally made it.

On the way, there was a fairly large contingent of people with McCain/Palin signs who must have camped out to get such good spots near the event. As they needled their way through the crowd, there were people who got into their space and called them "baby killers", "abortionists" and "communists". Lovely... They were pretty scared at the anger these people had for them.

They mentioned this to the reporters they talked to, who told them they had seen them as well. The BBC reporter they talked to said they had been bussed from Indiana and Illinois. Probably more for Palin than McCain...

I was really pissed that these women, moms wanting to do their first protest, would have to deal with such hate from the so-called "Christians". Jesus would have kicked their ass if he had been there.
