Ohio Gov. Strickland (Hillary supporter) is ONBOARD!
Email from Strickland a few minutes ago.

Dear Maseman,

Voting is one of our most important responsibilities as citizens, and as Ohioans we know the stakes this year could not be higher.

But you don't have to wait for November 4th to vote for change. Early voting has begun in Ohio and I urge you to cast your vote for Barack Obama today.

Even if you haven't voted before and are not registered to vote, you can still register and cast your ballot, in one stop. But One-Stop Early Voting ends on Monday, October 6th. So there is not much time.

Find your early vote location and vote today.

Every day, I see another example of the toll that George Bush's failed policies are taking on Ohio's workers, our families, and our businesses. And I know that you feel it, too.

Ohioans deserve real leadership in Washington. It is time for a change.

The most important thing you can do to bring the change we need is go to your county's early vote location today, and vote for Barack.

This election is going to be close in Ohio. Every single vote will make a difference, so please tell your friends and family about this special opportunity, and bring them to the polls, too.

Find your early vote location:

Thanks for taking this important step to continue turning around our state.

Sincerely,

Governor Ted Strickland

5. yes he is pretty popular here
I believe he won his election by over 25 percent in 06. I know a lot of republicans that voted for him.

3. I guess his friend Ed Rendell didn't get the memo
As recently as yesterday I heard that PA was still refusing to use any paper ballots whatsoever unless, and I quote "every voting machine in the state is broken".

Problem is they ARE "broken". Every last one of them. But Rendell knows that. So did Strickland. At least Ted seems to have finally realized the greater reality that some things matter more than the DLC winning a primary.
