Dear Joe Biden, what you need to do tonight
Dear Joe Biden,

what you need to do tonight is dummy up. Keep all answers to 20 words or less.

This is not to avoid gaffes. I enjoy listening to you speak.

The idea is this: The debate is 90 minutes, no matter what. If Sarah Palin speaks for 30 minutes total she might be able to keep repeating a few stock phrases without it turning into a Monty Python sketch.

But if she speaks for 60 minutes total she will have to repeat her prepared five minutes of patter 12 times.

And if you can burn through the moderators main questions in 40 minutes then we will get to questions Palin hasn't been prepped on.

So make a project of not taking the alloted time on anything!

Thank you.

2. Just imagine Palin fielding questions for 90 minutes straight...
I doubt she has ever done that in her life.

3. Yes, the worst thing he could do is burn up the time
Let her have an hour or so to stare blankly at Ifill like a moose in the headlights!

4. I agree totally.
I watched her speech at the Republican Convention and thougt, "Uh Oh, we're in trouble". After her last few performnances I am not nearly as worried, in fact I'm confidant that she'll choke. I think the luster has worn off her apple and people are starting to notice the bruises. If she wasn't so cute and bubbly, she wouldn't even be a candidate. I hope Joe deals only with the questions and not with her. If he comes across as condesending, the people will feel sympathty for her and subconciously side with her. Your right though, he should keep it brief and let her hang herself with her own lack of articulate, intelligent, original thoughts.

ps...this is my first post, so take it easy on me!
