He's just confusing as hell. Then, he goes on to blame Obama for "phoning it in," never mind that John McCain did all of his "work" on the bill over the phone.

things added to please House Republicans, anyway? Rachel was making it seem last night like the House Dems got screwed. And so nice of McCain to show leadership and take the floor, saying that he is unhappy with many things in the bill, but it is worth passing. Oh shit, he didn't do that, did he?

2. Obama spoke from the floor of the Senate

...and for a very unpopular bill. McC hid under his desk, whispered "aye" and hoped nobody noticed.

3. He makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm not even sure which bill he's talking about - the House version or the Senate? It sounds like he's taking credit for putting together the House version of the bill - the one that failed, while trying to stick it to Obama with the "he phoned it in" remark. :eyes: Does he realize that Obama spoke on the Senate floor yesterday before voting? Why didn't he speak about the bill yesterday before voting in favor of it?

He seems confused. Very confused. :scared:
