This should drive a nail into McCain's coffin.
In today's Orlando Sentinel, in the heart of the I-4 Corridor (the all important area a candidate must win to win FL) there is an article about McCain and Obama's health plan.

Under McCain's plan I would be taxed on the money my employer pays for my health plan. In return I might get a tax credit. If I get a tax credit I'm sure my employer would drop my coverage and I'd be left to shop for my own health plan. Insurance companies are not friends to the consumer. Insurance salesmen just want to make a buck. I don't want to have to figure out the bureaucratic details of a health plan offered by various companies.

This is quite frankly frightening and everyone must show this to undecideds and even McCain supporters. My friend is a McCain supporter but he his SERIOUSLY thinking of voting for Obama just because of this. In fact, my friend brought me the article!

4. You are probably as barraged with ads there as we are in Wisconsin.
I counted 7 the first hour I had the tv on this morning. One was by the RNC blaming Obama for the bailout package, the one McCain voted for.

2. My company and I combined pay about
$12,000 per year. I am in the 15% tax bracket so I would have to pay $1,800 per year in income taxes on this. I coudl afford this but many on fixed incomes or lower incomeds would really be hit hard.

6. Yes. McCain's health care plan is to RAISE TAXES on the middle class!
The more people realize this, the less they will want to vote for McCain!

7. Obama MUST exploit this. This article I posted in the original post
is SO easy to understand. I was going to vote for Obama anyway, but I am extremely angry about this plan of McCain's. My McCain supporter friend is very upset also and he may change his vote. MCCAIN MUST NOT WIN!!!!!

9. This came up in the last debate,
and both Obama and Biden have mentioned it on the stump and in interviews many times.

Unfortunately, the media has been pretty silent on this issue, probably because it is among the most indefensible of McCain's policies.

10. Not to mention the staggering cost difference between
group health policies and policies issued to individuals.

11. I don't think this is a real McCain plan
McCain honestly has no healthcare plan and this plan is just some junk goods sold to him by one of the many lobbyists that surround him. Half the time you wonder if McCain knows the policies of the McCain campaign. It's pretty clear the people surrounding him don't because sooooooo many in the last 3 weeks have been totally off message. It seems like the only ones that know McCain's policies are Obama's team.

12. There's no chance you'll get anything at the end of the year
McCain's plan for a tax refund only applies to those who aren't covered by an employer's health care plan.

According to his website he hopes for Americans to shun employer supplied health care in favor of his plan to pay insurance companies directly up to $2500 per individual or $5000 per family. That's not enough for an insurance coverage, but he hopes Americans will streamline their health care by refusing options they wont need. Like dental, vision, and ambulance.

In other word you'll get less, and pay more under McCain's plan. Meanwhile, he claims he'll raise over 3 trillion dollars over the backs of working class Americans to spend on granting rebates for the self insured and war in Iran.

McCain himself has enjoyed the benefits of tax payer supplied health care all his life, except for a few years in the '60s when he sucked at the teat of the Vietnamese taxpayers.

Here are the details from McCain's own website:
