Palin on Hannity's radio show, the media is "censoring her"

Palin Gives Debate Preview: Palin came out swinging during an appearance on Sean Hannity's radio show on Wednesday:

She gave a preview of how her preparations for Thursday's debate in St. Louis are going and said she has been researching Barack Obama and Joe Biden's voting records, "Everything is going well and I'm out here in Arizona getting some fresh air even as we are studying up and reading a lot of voting records and realizing how extremely liberal the other ticket is so this is a good time to be here and I so look forward to tomorrow night getting to speak to Americans about the very, very clear choice they are going to have on November 4th."

Palin also claimed she was eager for the debate since the media had been 'censoring' her: "Getting to speak directly to Americans without that filter of mainstream media trying to I think maybe censor some of my comments as we lay out those contrasts between these two different tickets."

5. Count the number of times she says 'ticket' tonight
Sounds like she's got that word stuck in the tape-loop that is her brain, so we should expect her to inject 'ticket' into just about every response, and everywhere like such as...

11. I think you just found the word to get hammered by if you're playing a
drinking game while watching the debate. I am NOT going to drink this time. Last debate I got more drunk than I've been in like two years and I felt like I had a hangover for about three days.

ugh

Lookin' good, hangin' out & gettin' high!

Ok, those are my activities, but her pronunciation!

I want to cringe everytime I hear her drop a g.

7. We know that she will use the right wing talk show tactic of using "liberal" as a smear
Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 10:12 AM by Larkspur
Palin will be a right wing robot spewing right wing talking points and smears. She'll add a few folksy stories to pretend to be Reagan-in-waiting, but she'll offer no depth to the debate and she'll avoid honestly answering questions on controversial issues, like abortion.

Biden can knock her out with criticizing her town of Wasilla charging rape victims $1,200 to have the police collect evidence against their attacker. That policy of hers is her Achilles heal.

8. Well theres her game plan
Apparently they have decided that she should go on stage tonight and denigrate Obama and Bidens record.

I guess its a decent strategy since she does snark well and substance not so much.

Don't you actually have to TALK to the media first, to give them the chance?

16. "Liberals" is her word for tonight
The media and the righties will eat it up. The Public at Home, after, 8 years of a republican president and years and years of a republican congress will just find it grasping at straws.

19. Your lips to God's ears!
That's my belief as well. I think people are finally realizing we live in serious times and need some serious candidates. I think (hope!) that she goes all crazy negative and attacks only to discover that, as we saw last week with the Obama-McCain debate, people are sick of that shit.

18. really? Whenever I turn on the tv, there's another freaking Palin rally, with the same speech.
Yet, the media is censoring her? "Yes, I will educate the American public tonight about their EXTREMELY LIBERAL voting reecords, and I shall not be silenced!"

At least the Obama team has seen video of her old debates, so they know what her "style" is.

23. Censor!?
How in God's name can they censor her when she doesn't even talk to them? The few interviews she's given have been high profile media events. Has Biden gotten that? Nooo.

"Contrast" away Toots. YOU Sarah Palin are way more conservative than either Obama or Biden are Liberal. Kucinich MIGHT be a counter balance to your conservatism. Besides...what the hell is wrong with being a Liberal?

26. "we are studying up and reading a lot of voting records"

MODERATOR: Gov Palin, how would you have responded to Russia's invasion of Georgia?

PALIN: Sen Biden is so Liberal he voted in favor of abortion.

MODERATOR: Sen Biden, same question.

BIDEN: Wait a second. She didn't answer the question. How was her reply even remotely related to this question?

MODERATOR: May we remind the Senator that the rules of this debate do not permit direct questioning by one candidate of the other.

PALIN: The Senator must think that he can just push me around because I'm a little woman. Well, let him try and he'll find out that this woman has bite!

Read an article posted on DU yesterday by a former opponent of Palin's in Alaska, and this is pretty much what he said she does during debates. She always replies with an attack on her opponent that has nothing whatsoever to do with the question asked. This is going to be fugly.
