From: "Jack Shapiro, OR.BarackObama.com"

November 4th will be here before we know it, but there's another deadline coming up even sooner.

The deadline to register or update your voter registration address in Oregon is Tuesday, October 14th.

This is a vitally important deadline -- it's up to us to vote and make sure others can vote as well.

Michelle Obama recorded a short video for us about the registration deadline and the three simple rules you have to remember to vote by mail in Oregon.

Watch Michelle's video and sign up to register -- make sure your friends, family, and neighbors are registered also:

Watch the video and register to vote = http://my.barackobama.com/page/m2/55c135c9/503713af/6866c264/1188b488/354790602/VEsH/

You're building this movement in Oregon by bringing folks into the political process who have never been involved, and those who felt left behind by the politics of the past.

Barack is relying on supporters like you to help deliver important states like Oregon -- and there's not much time left to register to vote, or to re-register at a new address.

Because all votes in Oregon are cast by mail, it's essential that your current information is up to date, so that you receive your ballot at the correct address.

We've worked hard to come this far. But it all comes down to casting our ballots. Let's make sure that on November 4th, Oregonians throughout the state cast their votes for change.

Watch Michelle's video to get all the info you need to cast your vote for Barack in Oregon:

And don't forget to forward this email to your friends, to make sure they will be able to vote, too.

Thanks for everything you are doing in Oregon,

Jack

P.S. -- Two weeks from Friday, ballots will begin arriving in mailboxes across the state. Sign up for this campaign's Get Out The Vote effort today and help Barack win Oregon:

1. Every single time I go to my local library here in Oregon...
... there are volunteers sitting outside the front door, registering people to vote. It's a lovely thing to see. :loveya:
