I was having a really really shitty morning and then I just clicked on Electoral-vote.com
http://www.electoral-vote.com/

And I just started crying again, but this time they weren't tears of frustration but tears of joy that honestly, I think our message is getting out there. And honestly, unless some bizarro freak of nature item comes out about Obama, I can't see him losing this election. Sure, it could be stolen but with these numbers it would be so fricking obvious that the country will notice and will fight back with outrage.

18. I'm so glad my stupid state only has 8 EVs
I have been seeing more Obama bumper stickers and yard signs lately - not too many for McCain, but I think its because they are ashamed to advertise.

6. It's not over yet.
McCain still has yet to go deeply negative. I hope Americans don't buy more Swift-boat style nonsense because their TV told them it was true.

10. Huh?
Obama 338 on that map.

O would have to lose ALL of the weak Obama for McCain to win.

Ain't gonna happen.

11. It's all good news...I prefer 538 though.
Not because Nate Silver is unabashedly a liberal...though he is, but because he's a math and stats guy...which he really is. (He goes out of his way to remain objective with the numbers.) Also, there's this:

I like seeing the win % for McCain drop like a rock. It was 26.1% last week.

14. I check that site several times a day--
just to get the rush when I see that electoral number go higher and higher.

I would like to see the popular vote number go up. It's possible Obama could win but have the popular vote be in dispute, and that would be something for the right to harp on for four years.

i see more Obama bumperstickers than I see McGrumps.
Now I know that is not scientific means of determining votes...
But I live in Tarrant County (Fort Worth is here), which is pretty red. There is a change blowin' in -- my husband says he can feel it.

My neighborhood is pretty much like King of the Hill. I know several people who are going to vote for Obama that would usually be hard right.
...I'm just saying.

I think he's going to do better in Texas than people think.

Personally, I've been calling for Obama to get down here. I think he could pull it off.

Am I wrong. I don't think so. Texas hasn't been red for very long...and we did vote for Ann Richards.

Just my opinion, fwiw

17. When Obama sees those numbers he may get there
I don't know if we can win Texas but if we come away with the numbers they are showing in the polls it gives me hope that we could one day bring Texas back into the fold.

He takes one term with Biden. Biden bows out and Richardson steps in.
