Lazio admits mistake in debate with Clinton
http://www.newsday.com/services/newspaper/printedition/thursday/nation/ny-uslazi0212022384oct02,0,114678.story

Eight years ago, Rick Lazio walked across a debate stage in Buffalo and stuffed a campaign pledge in front of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

That move, perceived as bullying and chauvinistic, cemented his place in political history as an example of what not to do during a debate with a female opponent, political experts said Wednesday.

(snip)
"At the time, I was making a point about a campaign finance pledge that Mrs. Clinton had made and I didn't feel that it was being honored. I thought that was the opportunity to make the point. On substance, it was right -- and on style and perception, it was a mistake, which I regret," said Lazio, then a member of Congress from Brightwaters challenging Clinton for a Senate seat. He now works in government relations for JPMorgan Chase.

His advice to Joe Biden in Thursday night's faceoff with Sarah Palin: "Even when your opponent is tough as nails and there's no way that they are going to be intimidated by a challenge or a comment, the audience may not see it that way."

6. I can't believe lazio is giving
Biden advice..it's funny, though, 'cause I thought about this incident today when I was thinking of what you don't do during a debate.

Even when Gore went over into chimptard's space. Gore had some terrible advice about rolling his eyes, sighing, and that space invasion.

mccain had bad advice too about being so fucking rude or maybe that's just his inherent nature.

3. He wasn't helped by the fact that he's an asshole, either.
As if anyone is interested in anything Rick Lazio has to say.

5. Lazio
As a New Yorker, it scalds my ass that an idiot ,drummed out of politics by his own mistakes, is rewarded with a job with crew of thieves like JP Morgan. On the other hand, he is with his own kind, so it makes a weird kind of sense.
