Sarah Palin won't be able to do the "cutesy, winky, cheaky doll" act with Gwen Ifil

It may have been mentioned here already, but Palin's usual tactic of trying to act "cute" and disarm Daddy with her winks, pursed lips and Golly Gee antics with Gwen Ifil in the debate won't work.

Her only debates appear to be with men and she would play the Cute Card to disarm those wanting anything more than "political gibberish". How she couldn't even get past Katie Couric with fairly innocuous questions is nothing compared to what Gwen is going to do, as any moderator of a debate should. Sarah will be asked a question she tries to slink out of again until she makes a gaffe.

That said, the bar is set so low for her at this point. I don't think Gwen gives a crap where the line is set.

The repubs approved her- hell, given the great minds they got going, some might have known her only as a byline, not as a black woman.We must remember, at the time, Palin had been newly chosen to take Hilary's mantle as the choice of the vagina voters. It was possibly thought women reporters would be ideal, because they would softball one of their own: we all want a woman in thie white house before we die- by any means necessarary, right?

This has all backfired because the republican machine was thinking with it's dick. They showed their deep misogyny in the crass candidate which they have foisted on us. I suspect Katie Couric resents this untalented upstart who has based an entire career on her ability to pout at men. Heck, Katie probably has far better creds in the journalism field than "6-school" Palin could ever scrape together. On one level, we're seeing why Katie made the big leagues and Sarah was a mere regional sportscaster. I'm sure Ifill isn't exactly impressed either. Sarah's wingnut beliefs are essentially anti-feminist and most women sense that.
