Obama makes McCain very uncomfortable----today in the Senate
http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/beyond/

McCain is an asshole....big time!

--snip--
Let the record reflect that Barack Obama made the approach to John McCain tonight.

As the two shared the Senate floor tonight for the first time since they won their party nominations, Obama stood chatting with Democrats on his side of the aisle, and McCain stood on the Republican side of the aisle.

So Obama crossed over into enemy territory.

He walked over to where McCain was chatting with Republican Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida and Independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut. And he stretched out his arm and offered his hand to McCain.

2. It's like McCain thinks he should just be handed the Presidency but
this young upstart has thwarted his coronation.

12. Nixon and JFK had both been Senators. But Nixon was VP already by the time he
ran for president.

11. McCain takes things way too personally. I really don't know
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 09:35 PM by Kdillard
how anyone can think that his personality type is suited for the Presidency. It also appears that he has learned nothing from what happened at the debate and how people reacted to it. Another quality I don't want in a President.

15. I can't wait until he sits in the loser circle.....no one deserves it more at this point..how dare
he act like such slime and act as if he is ready to lead the people of this country? Every single american citizen should be sickened by this obvious display of never before seen open contempt of one's running mate and show thier disgust of his antics at the ballot boxes...
