Bill Clinton ROCKS Florida For Obama - He's ON FIRE

WATCH HERE

Former President Bill Clinton revved up a crowd on behalf of Barack Obama in Florida Wednesday, his first since the Democratic convention. And though he repeated his mantra that Democrats don't have to "say one bad word" about their Republican opponents to win the election, Clinton actually snuck in a dig against Sarah Palin.

"So he's got a better philosophy. He's got better answers. He's got a better understanding, and better advisers on these complex economic matters. He's got a better vice presidential partner," Clinton said to a crescendo of applause.

Any Democratic skeptics who watched the former president's speech for signs of lingering bitterness against Obama should have been pleasantly surprised. Though MSNBC anchor Contessa Brewer wrapped up the channel's live coverage of the speech by saying the former president "spent almost as much time" praising Joe Biden as Obama, Clinton actually spent more time praising Obama's positions than talking up his running mate.

5. He could make paying taxes sound patriotic
which in a weird way it is, but it takes someone like Clinton to really sell it.

10. It makes me feel nostalgic.
I would have voted for this man for a third term, I would still do it if it was constitutionally possible.

13. Unless Bill Clinton wraps his arms around Sen. Obama
and kisses him full on the lips, many Obama supporters will still swear that Clinton's endorsement of Obama is half-hearted!

But, by golly, we need him on the campaign trail. The man knows his stuff, and he communicates so well. He is the Big Dawg.

25. I was totally disgusted with him this month. But I have to admit
that I burst into tears of joy this evening when he said (paraphrase) Obama will have crises to deal with once in office and he needs a seasoned Biden. Only he could make the best reasoning as to why Palin shouldn't even be in the running.
Still, and I'm sorry to say, I think Clinton only came around when the polls for Obama soared yesterday and there was no denying his momentum. But that's a minor, he was Fantastic!

26. In hiding. But let somebody start a thread that says that Clinton blinked TWICE
when he said Obama's name and they will be all over it as an indication that Bill is dissing Obama....cause everybody knows that two blinks is the equivalent of crossing your fingers...

27. The way President Clinton tied Obama to the economy
and compared his approach to what went on during the Clinton years - you know, when everyone was in a better position and the economy was roaring - was incredibly, incredibly powerful. We all know now that this is going to be an 'economic' election, and to have the last POTUS who actually handled the economy properly distinctly point out that Obama is the next guy to handle this right is going to hit home to a LOT of independents who long for the days of prosperity. Awesome job from him on this event. I hope he gives a speech like this every day.
