My take on the new alleged "gaffe" from Biden on clean coal
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 08:49 PM by usregimechange
The gaffe was that he suggested something that seemed contrary to Obama's position that he does not support clean coal. He said "China is going to burn 300 years of bad coal unless we figure out how to clean their coal up because it is going to ruin your lungs." When he said "no coal plants here in America," he likely meant no dirty coal plants here as it was in the context of dirty coal in China.

and there are a ton of videos on the internet where he is talking about it. It's really a non issue. I'm not sure anymore whyy he said it, but I don't think he really caught what she was asking him. Oh, and it's not really new, it happened about 1-2 weeks ago.

2. I don't think he wants any more new coal plants here, nor does Obama. I think they'd
both like to see all alternative and nuclear only if necessary. Infrastructure is incredibly important at this point too.

3. Clean coal is a misnomer. It's a shell game that we cannot win.
Coal is dirty. The end.
