Can anyone go to FreeperLand and see if any heads are exploding and report back into this thread?

I'd appreciate it.

But the shot only was a breeze through their empty craniums.

No harm done.

Of course I've seen one idiot here (locked fortunately) post that they're abandoning Obama because he voted for it.

Maybe that idiot can go over to freeper land.

"I switched from Barr when Palin was selected. But it looks like McCain and Republican leadership is going along with this atrocity. If so I know where my vote is going back to."

"Whatever. I am NOT voting for a President that will support this atrocity. Not going to do it. If McCain votes for it he has done it to himself. He can avoid it by doing the right thing."

"% chance McCain grows a spine and votes no?"

"I’m with you. I don’t even know if Barr (who I really don’t care for) is on my ballot or not but I will not vote for McCain, as much as I love Gov. Palin. Hopefully she’s run in 2012 and I can vote for her then. I am beyond disgusted!"

"With you on that one. McCain will have caused the implosion of his campaign, not me."

"At this point I am not sure there is a difference between McCain and Nobama. D and R mean nothing any more."

Of course, most of them will probably eventually forgive McCain and vote for him. After all, we forgave Obama for FISA, didn't we? But still, it's kind of fun watching them freak out.

11. I thought McCain was trying to show leadership by trotting down to Washington?
one minute he's like a rocket zipping down to DC showing how he can be a leader taking part in a debate he got froxen out of at the WH. Then his GOP babies vote against the bailout when he's voting for and now he's conspicious - did he make a great speech to the Senate?

12. "Gutless old fart"......
and "McCain voted for the "Bush Bailout Bill", I will not be voting for him."

and "Kyl and McCain have both voted for this piece of garbage. They can count on me voting for someone else goign forward. I will write in Palin before voting for McCain this fall." (you do that, Sunshine!)

and "If John McCain wants socialism enough to vote for the bailout, I say give it to him in spades."

And on and on. Must delouse now.

18. St. Sarah will save us all! I love the cognitive dissonance
To: rabscuttle385
I hate to say it, but he was going to vote for it. He had come out saying he would. All I can say is, at least ACORN isn’t getting the 20% or so. Say what you will, McCain did get House Republicans involved into a worse bill (not that I feel any better about this one).

My God give House Republicans the strength to vote against this and let the rats be solely responsible. This is why it’s crucial to win back the house and senate. The only way to get rid of this is to have the votes to do it. And we need someone in the White House who will do it. We will in Sarah Palin.

everyone calm down. We all know how McCain is and if he wins the presidency there will be more disappointments. However, he is much better than Obama. Palin is great and the VP for her is a great start to a long career.
DITTO!!!! Goodness... what alternative beside McCain... unless you want a terrorist dictator. Not the vote we wanted but even Sarah said this afternoon that a lot of the pork was out and that something was needed.

CALM DOWN!!!!!!

you say Palin as if you think she’s against the bailout.

Our pretty young conservative Alaskan is against whatever she's being told to be against.

This is despicable! These people really want to lead our country to socialism. This is VERY upsetting!

I can’t believe McCain voted for this sham! All that talk about “reforming Washington” and “ending earmarks....” and then he votes for THIS????

I’ll still vote for McCain because I can’t bear the thought of Obamanation being elected, but my confidence in McCain has dropped significantly.

Our hope is now in Sarah. I hope she will speak out against this atrocious bill!

I am sick that our candidate...
He's not our candidate, Sarah is. A vote for him has to be cast to be a vote for her. She is stuck reciting the party line on this, but when she gets her own national elected office, I expect her to be the voice of truth and reason in the McCain administration.

If we do get him as President, we will need the House Republicans to keep us from sinking into socialism.

19. Oh Man, my personal favorite:
I think you are correct in that the house will block it.

However, I have to say that I had my check book out this afternoon to send McCain $500.00 but then I decided that I would wait to see what happens tonight.

Well now that I have seen, the check book will be closed without that donation being made.

I have to vote for him. I consider BO to be the most dangerous person in the world today, including Osama. So I have to vote for McCain, but I don't have to give him any money.

The idea of all of those earmarks is disgusting, but more disgusting is that the senate is continuing the same practices that got us into this mess.

A living example of the old saw about the idiot doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Our problems will not be cured until we correct or repeal all of the bad legislation that brought on this financial situation.

What a shame. McCain had the opportunity to be a hero again and blew it.

23. Why do they love Palin SOOOOOO MUCH?
She's given like two smug and caustic speeches that were largely discredited lies and a few limited and universally accepted as weak interviews.

They are extremely wacky.
