The freepers are very upset about Palin running with McCain

Having read a couple of FR threads on the topic, this is the consensus:

They think it is disgusting that the finest candidate since Ronald Reagan is going to be dragged down by John McCain.

No prayer threads for McCain's demise yet, but they've settled on a Palin/Cantor ticket if God decides to do the right thing by calling McCain home. (Every last one of them is opposed to the bail-out, of course, so Cantor is their new hero.)

They do, however, offer prayers that a brilliant woman like Palin won't have her image tarnished by her association with an ignorant light-weight like McCain, because after 'the marxist Obama' wins (which they consider a forgone conclusion) someone will need to pick up the pieces of America.

And only Sarah Palin can do it!

(I would be curious how many of them had ever heard of their savior before a month ago.)
