I live in michigan, june 3rd 2008 I moved from Grand Rapids MI to Saginaw. Me and the SO changed our address upon arriving in moms back yard, hey red necks take this, ifn yer a 51 year old living with yer 33 year old GF in a 30 year old Ford Custom van in yer mamma's back yard, we might be related.
Anyhow she registered to vote at moms address, I did not, as the situation was temporary. July 6th,2008, we moved into a house, we are buying on land contract. So once again change of address time, and this time we both registered to vote. So this weekend I started seeing on the internet stories about ACORN and Obama ties wtf. So I decided to check it out, turned out to be a republicon smear to try to say ACORN is trying to corrupt your vote, yeah right you mean like they did in 2000 and 2004? ( no not ACORN the republicons )
Anyhow, I checked my and the SO's names on the voters list guess what? Right our names were dropped from the list, we got all the cards they send you in the mail, you are now able to vote in your district, oh yeah btw your also signed up to serve on a jury. So now in the morning we have to take a trip across town to re register.
SO voted the first time in 2004 and is still pissed Kerry lost, family functions, SO to con family, "I voted for Kerry and the DAMN republicons stole it". Good thing SO is a blonde huh? Last time I said something like that it was 4 years before they would wish me a merry xmas and just this year I'm allowed to visit their driveways, not allowed out of the van nor invited into their homes yet, maybe next xmas huh?
Well anyhow what is up with this crap? I have never had any troubles before, shoot in past years when I was moving from place to place 99% of the time the first thing I got in the mail was the damn voter registration, well darn it I was hoping for cash. Sorry if I offended any blondes or red necks in this post.
