Biden Should Disregard the Debate Rules and Confront Palin Directly
Fuck it. McCain's campaign has played unfair this entire general election. I don't think for ONE SECOND that Palin will come in that debate and act according to the rules. They are setting Biden up to come unprepared. I predicted over a week ago what Palin's debate strategy would be and it seems like that is what it will be. I said she would ignore any question and turn it around as an attack on Obama. This is what she will do. She will ignore the rules they demanded so she comes across looking strong. Did we really expect a fair debate?

Biden should ignore the rules and within HIS time, directly address Palin on her lies, McCain's record, strongly defend Obama, and then explain what Obama/Biden administration will do.

The rule book for this debate has been thrown out of the window. Fuck it. Do what you wanna do, Joe. If she starts talking smack, say so.

4. At some point he just needs to say this isn't a debate
This is a dog and pony show and I want to provide a rebuttal to the lies coming from the GOP candidate...

5. He is going to have to play this by ear.
He can't look like he's bullying her. At the same time, he can't let any attacks go unanswered.

Remember, the media will be looking for any excuse to declare a Palin "win". This will not be easy for Biden despite his obviously superior knowledge and understanding of the issues.

6. Right. He has to become a master in gamesmanship with this character Palin
This isn't about knowledge or experience going against her, he has that a million times over. This is about who can come across as more likable, strong, tough, confident, clever, and smart (which isn't always the same as "knowledgeable")
