I saw a DSCC poll and a local GA poll that had tighten this race but for some reason I wasn't buying it. But now SurveyUSA (which leans right) just put Jim Martin 2 points behind Saxby Chambliss. You know what this means? We have 3 senate seats right now that are within 3 points if we can pull out those 3 plus the other 7 we are currently leading - we could have a filibuster proof senate WITHOUT lieberman in 2009

Go Jim Martin!!!

1. Crossing our fingers here.
I've seen exactly one yard sign for Martin. None for Chambliss.

2. Uh oh, you better add the "ic" to the word Democrat, or the word police will be comin' for ya...

;-)

On topic though, something is definately changing in the south. I got some family down that way who are somewhat racist and very rednecked... and a lot of them are voting for Obama.

4. Apparently John Kerry has put a million to senate races. Looks like we're going places.>

Great to see some walking the walk from Kerry. We'll get so much done with the numbers and really change things. We can finally say to the GOP sit down shut up and let us fix this sh*t.

6. I wanna see Chambliss go down!! We must remember how Chambliss came to be...
During Election 2002, Max Cleland was running for reelection. Since he opposed the invasion of Iraq, his face was morphed into Osama bin Laden's. It was the most disgusting, despicable and hateful slander of a decorated Vietnam vet, a triple amputee! Chambliss DIDN'T SERVE!!!!

I want to see him go DOWN in flames!!!!

8. That's right!! I had forgotten about that. I hope early voting has a positive impact.
My family still lives in GA and I called them to make sure they voted early with proper ID and all!
