Quinnipiac and Ohio: This is ENORMOUS
With early voting already started coupled with the court decision upholding same day registration and early voting, Ohio could be taken out of play over the next week.

Throw in the results for Florida and Pennsylvania, and McCain's best hope may be to have a better showing than Bob Dole had in '96.

The signs pointing to a possible landslide are starting to stack up. If the Republicans in the House throw McCain under the bus again over the bailout plan, landslide results for Obama and down ticket Democrats will be imminent.

1. This is soo great!
Man the early vote at this time in Ohio can win it for Obama! I heard lots of young people were voting early in Ohio and I highly doubt it was for Gramps and Caribou Barbie!

GOBAMA!!!

2. I have been predicting a landslide for a while myself.
Just from judging what the polls are NOT counting. They don't count new voters, because they are not "likely voters." They do not count cell phones. Even though some say that they call cell phones, who would answer a call from some number that is unknown to them? The fact that many young voters are enthusiastically behind Obama, they only have cell phones, and they are new voters, allows me to come to this conclusion.

4. I agree, though this time the secretary of state is a Democrat
We definately have to worry about CO though, where the sec of state is a partisan Republican.

5. Early voters
that I saw on the news yesterday were a mojority of AA older voters. Mahoning county had 350. Trumbull had 150 and another county which I forgot had 40 early voters.

7. Here in Montgomery County, Dayton,
307 Buckeyes voted early yesterday, the first day of same-day registration and early voting.

About 15 "young people" camped on the sidewalk in front of our BOE; they had planned to spend the night but left when it started to rain. Hmmm . . . I wish they'd stayed; doesn't say much for their dedication.
