Hard working folks can think 'maybe I can't be a US Senator but my kid can be a US Senator
Today Senator Obama gave one of his best speeches of the campaign to date in Reno Nevada.

It included a clear understanding of the current liquidity crises and why we need to work together.

It included a long passage that was very Presidential in tone evoking the memory of Franklin Roosevelt on how we can get out of all our problems by working together.

It concluded with an inspirational passage that got the people who were lucky enough to be there on there feat.

Near the end he was talking about how we need to invest in our children's futures and that hard working people are happy to contribute if they know that they are giving their children a better day. One of the lines was

"Working people know 'I know I can't be a United States Senator but I know my child can be a United States Senator'".

You could hear the voice of his mother Stanley Ann Dunham encouraging her son decades ago.

Thanks Ann for planting that seed
